Personal Experience

Since early in his academic life, Md. Omar Faruk developed a strong passion for software development, problem solving, and modern web technologies. With a solid foundation in computer science, he began shaping his career in the IT sector through continuous learning and hands-on development experience. He completed a B.Sc.Eng and M.Sc.Eng in Computer Science & Engineering from Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET) in 2012, which strengthened his technical depth and analytical skills.

With more than 13+ years of professional experience, Omar Faruk has worked extensively across all stages of software development, including requirement analysis, system architecture, database design, performance optimization, security, testing, and deployment. He has hands-on expertise in PHP (OOP), Laravel, CakePHP, CodeIgniter, Wordpress, JavaScript, ReactJS, Vue.js, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and modern development practices such as RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, microservices architecture, and cloud-based solutions.

Throughout his career, he has held key roles in reputed software companies. He worked as a Web Developer at Gonona Technologies Ltd., later served as Team Lead & Senior Web Developer at Asian Information Technology Ltd., and subsequently joined Bit Mascot (Pvt.) Ltd. as a Software Engineer, where he contributed to scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications for international clients. His responsibilities included system design, API integration, performance tuning, and mentoring team members while collaborating closely with QA and operations teams.

In December 2020, leveraging his extensive industry experience, he started Trimatry and currently serves as its Lead Software Engineer. In this role, he leads cross-functional teams of software engineers, SQA engineers, and mobile developers. He is responsible for project feasibility analysis, technology stack selection, system architecture design, security and performance optimization, and delivery of scalable enterprise solutions. Under his leadership, BD Devs has successfully delivered numerous web platforms, e-commerce systems, and enterprise applications using modern development standards and automation practices.

Md. Omar Faruk has been involved in the development of a wide range of projects, including online event booking systems, enterprise business websites, e-commerce platforms, and international client solutions, demonstrating his ability to manage complex projects and deliver reliable software products. Alongside his technical career, he continuously upgrades his skills in emerging technologies, cloud computing, and software architecture, maintaining a strong commitment to quality, scalability, and innovation.
